Shopping Feedback Check Scam claim to be a mystery customer employment firm, "enclosed is a check for $4998 to assist you in your assignment" they said Winfred South Dakota

This company "Shopping Feedback Inc" mailed the following information in a plain white envelope w/out a return address, & my address was hand-written: There are 2 pieces of paper & a check w/ no stub just loose in the folded pieces of paper. The first "form" is an introduction & instruction sheet. It says that they are a "Myster Customer employment firm that specializes in the assisting of corporations on how to improve customer service to their clientele; we represent 1500 firms with more to come, we utilize a method known as mystery shopping to achieve this goal" It goes on to say congrats you have been "hired' as a mystery shopper. Here's a check for $4998 to assist you in your assignment. They put a warning in there that failure to comply with the requirements, calling them to get the assignment, will result in an immediate stop order on this check. (It's a Cashiers Check) They said below is a breakdown of attached funds:
Salary & Training Pay - $300.00
Your tasks are as follows: Wal-Mart Purchase - $50.00
Gap Purchase - $40.00
Westeern Union transfer - $1579.00
Service Charge by Western Union - $99.00
Moneygram transfer - $2873.00
Service Charge by Moneygram - $57.00

They say it'll be a weekly employment opportunity. That I could keep what I purchase @ Walmart & Gap. Ok, when I called the # on the instruct.sheet, the woman said I was to cash or deposit the check, & to make 3 copies of feedback form (which is called Customer Service Evaluation Tool (CSET) & they have a few popular company logos on it.

The tel# at the top of the check that says "for inquiries call" is actually, of course, their #, & they say "yes, this check is a valid issue", I called a second time & requested a different department & the very same woman answered. I was asking where I could get this check cashed, since the bank is in TX; This time, she says just take it anywhere they cash checks & they'll verify it. I found that odd>

I did contact the real Comanche National Bank & faxed copies of all this to them as they requested. They are now asking that I mail it to them. I'm putting that off for a bit, until I am able to expose these people. I realize that the bank is probably not wanting me to do that. But, this happened to me & I'm sure to plenty of other people. I don't like the fact that my name & address were acquired by these people in an attempt to perpetrate this scam. Now, if I'm wrong to hang on to this stuff, & your company thinks I should hand it over to the bank, please let me know. Thanks so much for allowing victims to help expose people like this!
