Silver Lakes Vacation Club SLVC Assessed me $1,500.00 without telling me what this is for. Helendale, California

Last week I received a Past Due notice for 2008 dues and a billing for assessments of $l,500.00 There was no explanation as to what the assessment is for. I was notified that they was to be an assessment of any kind. The dues are not actually due until the end of the year. I was told if I did not pay7 these charges that they would ruin my credit rating.

This outfit is impossible to deal with. Some years ago they swindled me out of $3,000.00 in a ripoff to sell to Europeans. When I called them about it they said the person that was doing this deal had died and that we were out of luck for the money. They also claim they had nothing to do with it. The meeting was held at their facilities and we had the impression that they were sponsoring the deal.

They were very rude and said that was that.
We tried to get out of this membership but can't. We have been in since 1987 and it does not expire until 2014.

We have not been sent a financial statement since 2003 and never sent meeting notices are required in the by-laws. They are a total ripoff. They did give us permission to sell this turkey a few years back or we could pay they about $4,000.00 to take it back. Big deal. I have never used it and will never use it. From what I have read on the internet, it is not a very nice place to stay.

This Bunch jerk is impossible to talk to. He has diarrhea of the mouth and mind. Do not get involved in anyway with this bunch of liars and sumbags.
