Silverline by Andersen , Andersen What a nightmare of buying SilverLine by andersen windows North Brunswick NewJersey

I recently bought 30 year old house and wanted to do home remodeling and wanted to replace all the windows and siding of house. So I decided not to move into my new home till the home remodeling is complete.

My Contractor recommended me to buy “Silver line By Andersen” new construction windows. I placed order of all of my windows through “Window Rama”. When I received my order, I found 4 issues with my windows out of 21 windows. What a quality assurance team “Andersen” has? How can some company have 20% failure rate i.e. 4 windows have issues out of 21.

Here are list of issue:

• One window was missing wood Jams
• Two windows have Bigger Wood Jams (6 ½ - 7 “).
• One Windows Siding Jam was broken.

Now my contractors placed some of the windows and waiting for other windows to be fixed. My Contractor can’t proceed with siding because “new construction” windows have to be placed before putting the siding.

I called “Window Rama” and they opened service order. I asked them to expedite this ? So far 3 days has gone and nothing has been done. I spoke to “Rov” of Silver Line and they are playing ping pong  and pointing to dealer and dealer is pointing to manufacturer while my contractor ( 4 employees) is getting paid for doing nothing as they can’t proceed further.

What a nightmare I am going through by buying windows through “Silver Line by Andersen”.

I will NOT recommend anyone to buy “Silver Line by Andersen” windows. It is better to go with different vendor.

I have the WORST experience ever with Andersen and still waiting for phone call from Silver line or Window Rama.
