I made the mistake of purchasing a few items from this store, simplyuniquebabygifts.com, in preparation for my sisters baby shower a few months ago.  i found what appeared to be an adorable diaper cake and baby blanket and some other accessories I thought would make cute gifts.  The items arrived about 3 week later and a day or two before the shower.  I had tried to get through to this site to check on the status and only received voicemail with no return communication. 

When the items arrived the diaper cakes was not completely assembled. Apart from the poor packaging the stuffed animals were loose in the box and the ribbons holding it together were in disarray and the daiper cake a weak and lopsided appearance - a far cry from the picture on the website.  I had to reconstruct it best I could.  I made it to the shower with gifts in hand and presented the diaper cake.  My poor sister was polite about what was clearly the least compelling gift at the shower and I also coveyed to her the baby blanket which I had wrapped. 

Sadly there was a discernable chemical odor and the blanket did little to impress. In short, the items purchased from this site turned out to be a huge emabrassment.  They are cheap items sold at mid range prices and you would be better off going to another website or retail store.  I would have encouraged my sister to take the items back or to teturn them if I thought the company would actually pick up the phone and stand behind their products.  Anyway, lesson learned. Simplyuniquebabygifts.com was a nightmare shopping experience for me.
