Skybeam only provides a fraction of the service that the indicidual pays for. It appears from other reports that this is a current issue that is only getting worse. (2010).  Everyone should flood the BBB with complaints. They are standing at an 'A' rating for right now and have only been a member of the BBB since May of this year. With enough complaints, and a lower rating, hopefully something will actually get done about it.

Skybeam Skybeam has seriously oversold internet services beyond their capacity. I pay for up to 10 Mbps. During the evening, measured by the took supplied by Skybeam, my response is typically 4 Kbps or nothing at all. During the day, my response is typically less than 2 Mbps. Today is is 1.4 Mbps. Poor performance in the evenings prevents my family from enjoying on-line entertainment. Poor performance during the day negatively affects my ability to do my job. Loveland Colorado
