Sliptrick Records - Carlo Muselli Stole money and copyrights to music. Internet

In March of 2023, Carlo Muselli of Sliptrick Records contacted me about my music.  He seemed very interested in my music and offered me a record deal with his label Sliptrick Records.  Per the agreement with Sliptrick records and Carlo Muselli, I was to keep all copyrights of my music and also put up 50 percent of the marketing and promotion budget.  We agreed on a total budget of $4,000 USD and so I sent 50 percent of that ($2,000) to Sliptrick records via paypal.  We then agreed on a marketing plan which included features, reviews and interviews in Decibel Magazine, Metal Hammer magazine as well as several other music publications and Spotify playlist features.

Sliptrick Records also stated that all sales and streaming royalties would be split 50/50 between myself and Sliptrick Records.

Additionally, Sliptrick Records also promised me 200 free copies of the physical release of the album that I could sell on my own to make back the money to be used for marketing the album.  

All of the above mentioned agreements were made in writing per my recording contract with Sliptrick Records.  

After it was announced publicly on their website that I had signed with Sliptrick Records, I began receiving numerous emails and messages from artists on the Sliptrick Records roster.  Each of them telling me how they had been scammed by Carlo Muselli and that I was about to get ripped off.  I dismissed most of them believing that Carlo Muselli was a man of his word and would make good on our written contract.  It was also too late at that point to back out because I had already given him the money.

Once the album was released, none of the things that Sliptrick Records had agreed to in our marketing agreement ever happened.  I did not receive the 200 physical releases, there were no features in any of the publications mentioned in the marketing proposal. The album received very little promotion outside of the Sliptrick Records website and facebook page.

Additionally, all of the copyrights for my music are owned by Sliptrick Records on all of the streaming platforms it was published to.  I can't even put the music on my own YouTube page without receiving copyright notifications. 

I have received no streaming or sales royalties for any of my music from Sliptrick Records and  my requests for sales reports have been unanswered by Carlo Muselli or anyone else from Sliptrick Records for that matter.

I have also made several inquiries to Carlo Muselli at Sliptrick Records about the status of the 200 physical copies I was to receive.  The only thing I have received so far from Carlo Muselli is excuses.

Sliptrick Records essentially took my money, published my album through some cheap service like Distrokid and left it to rot without any of the promotion promised in my contract.  

Carlo Muselli and his group at Sliptrick Records are essentially a group of international fraudsters who steal money and music from unsuspecting musicians all over the world.
