Slyons ripoff, misleading Rio Rancho New Mexico

I sent in a 25.00 money order to get the "start-up" parcel on 2-18-05, and as of now, have yet to obtain it.
Now the website is mysteriously down, which makes me think even more that I've been had.

After reading other reports on here, it seems it at least WAS a real buisness, but who knows now since no one one here has gotten a parcel or a reply from the company in months.

One rebuttal on this site, someone who claimed to know one of the owners personally, I found interesting.
On the website, when it was there, in the FAQ section it clearly stated that you would get paid by per envelope you stuffed, NOT by having people send YOU envelopes, then you send those envelopes to the company. I remember it said regardless of whether or not anyone buys the products or responds, that YOU would get paid because you stuffed these envelopes for the company.

So in the the very LEAST, this company is quite misleading, and I would gladly recommend to everyone who hasn't yet fallen victim to this scheme to stay away from it. Sadly though, if you're here, that means you were probably swindled too.

I was quite disappointed with this. I am currently on maternity leave, about to bring my first child into this world. Since I'm not getting paid what I normally would, that's why I sought to find a work at home job, to still bring home the income my husband and I need for our new house we're moving into this month, and to further provide for our baby's needs. Not that this means we won't be able to, just that it would've been much easier had this been for real as it claimed in black and white.
But, if anyone has had success with this, hat's off to you.

In the future, I myself will be looking for companies that have at least SOME way to contact them other than waiting and waiting via mail. I'd advise you all the same, but be careful anyway.
