Signed up to purchase 3 books from hotbooksale.com and was signed up for a membership with smartsavings.com without approval of services. Company first billed $1 to credit card on 12/7/08 followed by another charge of $29.95 on 12/14/08. Cancelled membership via website on 1/8/09, with 1/8/09 confirmation email stating that the membership had been cancelled; however, another $1 charge to my credit card on 1/18/09. Credit card account has been closed to prevent charges from smartsavings.com.
