Smith Global Funding Servces Richard Smith They tried to scam me of about 10% of loan which I tried to apply, claming it as closing costs fees Panama City Florida

My agent introduced Smith Global to us as of March 2018. Smith agrees to the loan for us and we signed off the paperwork through my agent. Smith wanted us to pay a 0.1% closing and processing costs before the loan can be wired out. Smelling a rat but yet still uncertain, I negotiated for a smaller sum of closing in exchange for a smaller loan.

The agreement between us stated that the loan will be wired to us after 48 hours after the closing costs are received by them. If the loan cannot be disbursed, they will refund us the closing costs. As agreed, I wired the closing over, they received and Smith even showed me wired transfer documents from the Bank of America. I called up BOA as there was a name and contact number indicated below on the wire transfer slip, and it turned out to be a fake.

Smith has not sense of shame and guilt and will go all the way to perpetute a lie and scam. The loan did not come of course and Smith even got the audacity to say that we did not buy any insurance and thats why the loan failed. I will report their case to BOA and FTC for further investigations. Smith Global is a fraud and scammer. Pls be warned.
