So You Wanna To Sell A Script - Script Express is the fastest and most comprehensive e-query service for writers - your screenplay pitch could be making the rounds in Hollywood the very next morning - it's that fast. That's a big lie Culver City California

I'm a writer and I write scripts, I bumped into the so called So you wanna sell a script, and they advertise that a query letter I wrote was going to be sent to 3213 Producers/Executives/Agents via E-mail. They charged me $85.00. To begin with they promise that the query letter gets to be delivered by the following day, and that's not true. I place the order 7/16/08 and the E-mail was supposedly sent 7/21/08. I only receipted 10 replies acknowledging the query, out of 3213. To me that is ludicrous. Out of those 10 replies two were to tell me that the query had been sent to the wrong E-mail address, and four to tell me they were no longer looking for clients. That leaves four that actually told me that they were not interested. I E-mailed Mr. Paul E. Harvey to complain 7/25/08 and he never responded. Then I e-mailed him again today and he has the nerve to insult my intellect responding me that it wasn't his fault that the companies were not interested in my script. I find it hard to believe that out of 3213 E-queries I only got 10 responses.

Query letter 85.00

AUTHOR: madscribe - ()

POSTED: Sunday, July 21, 2013

Hi, I am responding to your concern.  I do not know anything about this company and I am responding only with the hopes that I might be able to help you. I am an author with published novels, I am also a scritpwriter.

After reading your comment let me say this:

If you wrote your query/script as badly and with as little care as you wrote your comment, then you were fortunate to have received any replies at all.  These companies recieve thousands of queries.  Badly written ones with poor grammar will find their spot in the garbage can immediately.

This company may or may not be a scam but you should ensure that your queries and script are as professional and well written as possible.

I hope you take this for what it is worth and revisit yor errors.

If they do not respond to your queries, then they are not interested in anything except your money.  I found this to be the case with SELLASCRIPT.  I would never recommend or consider using them again.
