This is quite possibly the worst company ever operated in the history of companies. I would explain this organization of movers as the McDonald’s of moving but even McDonald’s completes their orders.

Unfortunately google does not allow pictures to be posted because I would show you photo evidence of my experience.

First we signed a DocuSign agreeing that we will meet up ANYTIME between 2 pm and 5 pm and I made a payment of $115 ahead of the scheduled date.

The day of the move I receive no call, no text, no email. I decided to call “a soft touch moving” at 5:30 PM! (After the companies online closing time) only to receive a voicemail 5 times. I receive a call roughly approximately 5:40 PM well after our agreed upon time explaining that he received my voicemail and his movers “phone died” (if I would not have contacted this company they had no measures in place to contact you back)

After my conversation with the owner the driver reaches out to me and the new agreed time is anywhere between 6:45 Pm - 8:00 Pm same day. (“latest Will be 8:00 pm” -Driver) At 8:20 PM I decided to call the company and the driver explained that he is doing a job still and will reach out when he finishes at this time I also receive a call from the owner who states exactly the same thing as the driver.

I’m seriously not sure if the owner was aware of the contract in place that explains our scheduled 2pm -5pm meet time or the driver that claimed 6:30 -800 latest After I explain this to the owner he decided to “turn his driver around” and hung up the line. Violating our contract, stealing my deposit money and leaving me with no recourse.

All in all from working at multiple online marketing firms I can confidently say that is company is a dumpster fire of a startup struggling for business hence they are using fake google reviews along site with Groupon.

The reason they are struggling for business is because they have seriously the worst customer support I’ve ever seen IN MY LIFE and they are less reliable than century links internet service.

Looks like a scammer to me

If you look for their moving licenses there is nothing that shows up in the US Dept of Transportation under that name except for a company in Bloomington, Indiana. Is it the same company? Who knows at this point, more research would have to be done. It appears that the companies aren't related at all.

The website for your particular choice is brand new. The one in Bloomington has a legitimate looking website, your website is a template type website which is a red flag.

If an actual person didn't come out to give you a written and binding estimate to move, then your chances of getting ripped off increase dramatically. This is one of those services that can't be done online (legitimately) or over the phone. If you insist on getting estimates/quotes/moving and packing services over the phone, you will most likely end up with a moving broker that doesn't actually move you at all. They contract out the service and whatever fee you pay in advance to the moving broker doesn't go to the mover at all. You end up paying twice: once for the broker and then again for the actual unknown mover.

Next time, get a quote from a local, legitimate moving service that has trucks to move you.  You have to do your homework. This particular field is filled with scammers.
