I bought windows 7 professioinal on Oct. 24 2014. I installed it on my desktop computer. No problems and it was recognized as a genuine copy of windows 7 professional. I kept up with all updates. On Sept. 8 2015 the computer said my windows 7 professional was not a legitimate copy.I contacted microsoft but they wanted a volume licensing # which of course I don't have. I asked how can it be recognized as legit for 10 months now illegal. They have no clue. They said contact the seller. Well we know the web site is gone and phone# is always busy. So from now on I will always buy where I get os on a disc.
