This post, and several others, were made by Mark Quinones on April 22, 2011. If you search Mark's name on RipOffReport you will learn more about Mark and his business practices.



Mark came to a company in which I am a director, Softway Solutions, and contracted with Softway to build a website.



Shortly after the initial meetings Mark became verbally abusive and physically threatening towards the staff members that were assigned to his project. This continued for weeks.
The final straw was on April 21st when he sent an email to one of our team members that was laced with profanity, accusations, and threats. I would include that email below, but I am afraid this post would not be published if I did.


On the morning of April 22nd, 2011, I sent Mark the following email:

Mark,



My name is Bob Eveleth. I am a director at Softway Solutions, and I work closely with the team you have been working with.



I have reviewed emails and other correspondance regarding your account. In doing so, I realize that we are not going to be able to please you as a customer, and find it best to refund your money.



In short, I will not tolerate your abusive language and threats. That is not how I do business, and is not the type of environment that I will ask anyone on my team to work in.



Your credit card has been refunded for the full amount you have paid towards this project.

After receiving my email, Mark went to RipOffReport and posted on two companies I work with. If you put my name in the RipOffReport search button you will see three posts that were made on me, on the same day (April 22), by three different people (Mark does not use his real name in his posts).



The first post, Studio One to One, is a small photography chain I started 15 years ago. Mark accused me of taking his photos, and making sexual advances towards him. (As a side note, I own the company, but do not work as a photographer). Mark then stated, among other things, that I am a registered sex offender. (I live in Houston, Texas, you can easily search my name)



The second post was on Softway Solutions--which I am a director. In this post he accused me of making sexual advances towards his twelve year old son. If you put Softway Solutions in the search bar you will see a total of six posts Mark made, all on the same day, defaming Softway Solutions (again, six different names).



In Mark's third post against me (again, all on the same day--put my name in the search bar) he accused both me and an associate of ripping him off on a logo project.



I have never met (nor spoke with) Mark Quinones (who also goes by Mark A. Taffet). I simply would not tolerate his abusive language and threats towards anyone on my team.



Unfortunately RipOffReport will not take down any postingsever. You can PAY RipOffReport $2,000 per incident for which they will "investigate", and if they find in your favor, they will still not remove the post, but will add their findings to the post.



It is unfortunate to be a victim of Mark's scathing and untruthful posts. I also find it unbelievable that RipOffReport will not pull any posts, even those that make defamatory allegations that can easily be proven false.
