I received a credit alert from creditkarma.com today. They stated a hard inquiry had been done on my credit report.

I used their phone number to look them up to see who was messing around in my credit report. I discovered the name Source Receivables with many complaints filed.

I then emailed the Ripoff Report to ask if this was legal, for this company to run a Hard Inquiry on my credit report WITHOUT my knowledge or permission. Especially since I'm in MO and they are in NC

I assumed it WAS NOT LEGAL to perform this task without my express consent, so here I am filing this report to see how I need to proceed and get help.
