I got 2 diploma's from them thinking that they were accredited and that they were excepted any where. I took my son to see a Army Recruiter, trying to get him in the Military, the Army Recruiter calls his buddy to come in the room with us and he ask him ," do we except diploma's from Southeastern High School ", the buddy said, "no, we except from Penn Foster they are accredited , this school not accredited ", my mouth dropped , I said," you mean to tell me I've spent 570.00 and they are no good ", I was upset this money was taken out my children's mouth . I was scammed ,I asked was there diploma's accredited and she said yes .

To be totally blunt I would have probably have laughed at you too, after shaking my head in dis-belief.
You can not "buy" a High School Diploma it takes work. Now, yes of course they probably had you take a few "classes" and perhaps a few tests, but the fact is that you still bought something you could have gotten for a fraction of the cost.
How you ask? Simple...just about every School District has some sort of Adult Education program that helps people who dropped out to get their REAL high school diploma or a GED. The difference...they actually make you work for it. But they also provide schedules that work for people who have other duties, some are even going to "online" classes that enable you to take it at any time. Because it is out of the Public school system you end up paying very low cost or even free if you qualify.
As for them telling you that they were "accredited". Yes, they probably are accredited..just not with any organization that anyone outside of their business accepts.
