BEWARE: Lawrence Bruce Smith (Southland Drywall) is a convicted criminal and a fraud.
On March 9th, 2015 we completed a written contract with Lawrence Bruce Smith (Bruce) of Southland Drywall of Spring, TX. On March 9th, we wire transferred $14,000 to Bruce Smith to complete the agreement. Bruce then formulated a series of excuses making himself unavailable. His excuses included; general sickness, a broken tooth, and diverticulitis. Bruce then disappeared completely keeping our money and not fulfilling his part of the contract. We filed criminal charges against him and had him arrested. Do not send this man any money.

Lawrence Bruce Smith is a Convicted Felon out of Montgomery County Texas who is still currently on Probation. He was arrested in the matter above. The charge was eventually dismissed after Lawrence Bruce Smith paid the individual the money that he had stolen from him. You can't run from your Past, your Criminal Record, or the Facts. Anyone doing business or thinking about doing business with Lawrence Bruce Smith or Southland Drywall just understand this individual is a Convicted Felon (Fraud) and still on Probation. He has an extremely long career of doing exactly what he was convicted of and arrested for in this case. It is his pattern and Method of Operation.
