Southside towing They towed my car from my work place on a private lot with no order by anyone and under a bandit tow condition. They failed to send me a DMV type lien sale notice but said that they did. They sold my $4,400 car with new motor, transmission , battery, starter, tires, brakes for just $175 at auction. I waited for lien sale notice in the mail. It never came. I first became aware of the lien sale of my car when Southside Towing put me in collections for $2,300 and ruined my good credit. I now lost my car, paying more for interest on my new car and my new home loan mortgage. I just cannot believe that my beautiful car was sold for $175. They likely sold it for much more in a secret auction. This really hurt me and my finances. Orange California

Tow company towed without orders from anyone and stored my car and sold it for $175 without sending me a lien Sale notice to me or prior owners. I just put a lot of money, $2,400 into my car for major repairs before it was sold. This was the fourth car that they "stole" from me and sold my other cars even with a lien ale opposition timely filed with DMV. The tow company put me in collections and they claim I now owe $5,900 to tow company for two cars for storage and tow. This ruined my good credit, lost my nice car and increased my mortgage interest on my home loan. I now cannot afford to pay for my new car payment because I never imagined losing my nice car to a tow company.

You convieniently left off some very important details. Such as the situation you got your car towed in. But for this to happen FOUR times tells us that you are probably doing something illegal, or are one of those people who walk the line and try to think they are smart by playing the technically game(which doesn't help your claim).

You failed to tell us that if this is such a nice car that is so vital to you, how could you let it go all the way to a lien sale without even knowing it was gone?  Because it is at least a month before it would go to auction, and if you cared about the car at all you would have been calling the police to find out where your car is.

Oh and you can't come back and tell us that you did call or you did know, because with all of your legal knowledge you are infering, you would have been telling us everything you did to get the car back.  Remember how I said that if you were playing the technically game that it doesn't help your claim...this is why.

FYI, a $4400 car you had to put $2400 in repairs into would by most people standards be considered a "junker".  Also, I really want to know where you were able to get an Engine, Transmission, Tires, Brakes, a Battery and Starter for $2400.

But again if you have all of thise proof that they are violating the law, why haven't you sued them?  You are well below the limit for Small Claims and can handle this without attornies and for a relativly low cost.

So what is the rest of the story.
