It seems this is related to Spectrum, but i am a current customer of Specrum and am not in collections. Spectrum has no idea where this is coming from. I tried to call the number to contact the collection agency Enhanced Recovery Company but cannot get through to anyone. I am trying to buy a house and need this removed from my CR. I have filed a dispute.

First off let's be clear.
ERC does not purchase any debt, ever, they only Service debt for the compnay who owns the debt.
What this means is that the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) does not apply to ERC.
This tells you that if ERC doesn't own the debt it clearly has to be retained, owned, by Spectrum.
Spectrum is a Telecommuncations Company who are licensed to do business by the FCC.
Go on line with the FCC and file a complaint against Spectrum with them.
It's important to realize that you do not have a business relationship with ERC.
Instead, ERC has their own business relationship with Spectrum.
Problem solved, happy house hunting!
Always remember that hunting down the wrong trail is a complete waste of both time and ammunition...
