The company sent me an order confirmation with a shipping charge of $19.49 but refused to ship unless I pay more than 3 times the amount they list on their website and in their catalogs.  I am a reasonable person working in the legal field They make excuses that are not logical and would not hold up in any court or law. They just want more than they advertise - which I think is WRONG.

Their Shipping and handling page says "Shipping and Handling Order Amount over $250 standard delivery  $19.49"  It also says "orders having large quantities  and /or oversized items may require special heavy/bulky shiupping charges in addition to the regular surface charges."

I did not order large quantities and did not order anything heavy. There were no notations on anything that I ordered as being heavy. The heaviest thing I ordered was a pair of boots or a coat.  The representative told me that shipping over $250  is $19.49 so to save on shipping I ordered many different items at the prices they advertise online in their website.

They called me with excuses asking me for over 3 times the amount listed for shipping saying my order is heavy. I refused and said I did not order anything heavy.

They simply act as if the total weight of the whole order determines whether the order requires an additional shipping charge.

If this was legitimate - and not a scam - they would allow me to remove any heavy item from my order (of which there are none) and proceed.
They simply have the shipping charges listed that way - to induce you to place a large order and then get you with much higher shipping charges.

I guess they figure that if you take the time to put together a large order they can "squeeze more money out of you". I spent many hours going through their whole catalog, I have ordered once before when there was a free shipping policy for your first order (spending hundreds of dollars).

I emailed them 3 times and addressed it to the head of customer service. Explaining that they are in violation of the laws that my order does not have any heavy or numerous quantities of the same item and that they should do the right thing and honor their own terms and conditions (and the amount they sent to me on my order confirmation). They refused to.

When I checked the complaints with the Better Buisiness Bureau - I was shocked to see how many complaints were already listed there.  Check it out yourself.

sO I will not shop their and will go back to all my friends and update them with what to look out for.
