Sprint PCS - CellularSprint PCS Collections - I.C. Systems Ripoff claims I terminated my contract early just by moving!! St. Paul Minnesota

After several years of Pre-Paid, I signed a 1 year contract with Sprint in October of 2000. That would mean my contract would end in October of 2001. In October of 2001, I signed up for another year (big mistake). After almost monthly calls to Sprint to fix the billing errors they made constantly, I decided not to renew my contract. But in August of 2002, I moved, which caused me to have to change my area code and phone number. Well, Sprint had the nerve to call this an "early termination", and decided they would bill me $175 PLUS an outragious closing bill, which I refused to pay. I sent them a nasty letter on 02/10/03, and never heard from them again. BUT, they just sent me to collections!!! Well, of course, I refused to pay the collection agency. But I recently checked my current credit report and found that that account is still in collections, THIS TIME through Cavalry Investments (which is scared to put their e-mail address on their website because they know they would get flooded with e-mails!).

I still refuse to pay Sprint or ANY collections agency they send me to, and have all the legal documentation to show that I am right in my decision.

NEVER, EVER sign up for Sprint PCS unless you like to talk to them for so long every month that your cell battery will die and you will have to call them from a landline phone! I called so much to get my bills fixed every month that I ended up talking to them for sometimes up to 3 hours!!!!

I will NEVER pay ANYONE for this debt, but need to let others know how they will be treated if they make the mistake of choosing Sprint PCS for their cell company. Go with Verizon and you will never, ever have billing problems or collections issues.
