Squadhelp is a fraud. Contestants made wild guesses and don't follow directions.
When I asked support for assistance I was told they couldn't help and that was after telling me to do what I had already tried - such as be more specific.
When I wasn't satisfied with the results they said that was okay they'd pick a winner for me!
Lost money and got a nice cold slap in the face to boot.

... and I can attest to the value of their product. Customers consistently report that they are more than pleased with the results of contests. Both customers and contestants enjoy the process.

#5 UPDATE Employee ..inside information
BootSHtrapped

From "BuiltInChicago," November 8, 2016:
"With a current employee count of eight, the 'bootstrapped' company is headquarted in Chicago."
"Bootstrapped?" I thought revenues were projected to be @$500,000 last year?! What happened? And are all of those eight employees on an actual company payroll, as opposed to being paid off with other contestants' wins?
The games and scams are ongoing. The owner/founder seems to have returned to a subsidiary role, as opposed to being online/interacting with contestants (often defensively/negatively) as he had over the last year. Complaints of name theft abound.
The company seems to have abandoned its longtime contestants in favor of ensuring that newbies win right after registration. Many wins are given to brand new contestants and the same group from India/Canada that surfaced with a bang over the last year. Some of those are likely some of the eight staff members mentioned.
Squadhelp: There's no shame in being financially strapped. We've all been there. But please run a legitimate business. Please award wins to the contestants that actually earned them, instead of dangling carrots in front of newbies and paying off your internal staff. We know what's going on. The behavior is unethical. Stealing intellectual property (like registering names at a site in Panama, maybe?) is illegal. Creating 10-20 new contests a day just to steal names is also illegal. if you can't make it honestly, close the site down. There's other naming sites operating legitimately and honestly. If you can't manage the same honest behavior, please shut down, like you had to do with Fashionara. We'll understand. It's tough to support a mini-mansion on stolen names, after all.

LipSHtick on a Pig Part 2
AUTHOR: Feeling SHcammed - (USA)

Ripoff Report, may we have some feedback on any progress being made with this company?
The site gaming just keeps changing form. There is a fairly new "contestant" who apparently joined the site in July. She now has @20 wins, which is more than most people get in a year. She also has such an unusual number of private messages to contest holders that several contestants have been vocally complaining about it, with the complaints being quickly dismissed by the site owner. It's possible that she's a site creation.
There is another contestant who seems to have been appointed the contestant-appeaser. When another contestant expresses frustration, he immediately jumps in to pacify them. He just was granted a $500 win- his first!- for his efforts.
Names are being stolen from the contests by the hundreds. The reports are generally dismissed. You might get a contest split for complaining.
If other contestants are reading, it would be great if you could anonymously add your own issues with this site.
Can you help us, Ripoff Report? Is this behavior illegal or just completely unethical? Who could this activity be reported to? Thank you!

Enough is Enough, I couldn't agree with you more. The gaming on this site has gotten out of hand.
The owner has gone through a lot of trouble to promote this business throughout the media. Forbes. Bloomberg's Business Week. He claims that the company's earnings are about $500,000. From what? Our stolen domains?
Enough is Enough explained that most contests are won by the same namers. The site goes into our submitted entries and sometimes tweaks them. Their business M.O. seems to be to pay out as little as possible since January, when the owner returned full-time. They have a group of "contestants" who live in India who win a disproportionate share of the contests. One from Canada, too.
I think a lot of the contests are written by site employees just to keep participants busy and find names to register.
It has been suggested that the same individual who gamed Prizes.org to its downfall several years ago might be affiliated here, as a consultant. You'd have to check out Prizes.org's history and see what happened over there.
There were many consumer complaints against the owner's former business, Fashionara. You'd have to go online and see those, too.
Your attorneys ought to check out the internal win procedures of this company, along with the way they pay their staff with wins to avoid putting them on the payroll. These are sometimes wins earned and deserved by other contestants. Thanks for following through with Enougn Is Enough's complaint and investigating how this company works.

Squadhelp IS a scam
AUTHOR: EnoughIsEnough - (USA)

Oh please squadhelp. You use proxies and are based out of India. Contest Holders are stealing the domains people spend hours creating. You request personal tax information for small amounts of money. WHO would give out personal tax info to a company based out of India? There are so **** many bad reviews of this web site. Just google squadhelp everyone.
People have actually listed the multitudes of stolen domains. People are being used for their talent and creativity, only to not win and have that domain purchased later by the CH. The company steals the name you created, but dumped it during the contest.
Fake contestants are placed in there who seem to win many, many times and who haven't followed the contest guidelines correctly. The same few people seem to always win. That alone is a red flag.
These placed contestants are there to get people revved up only. You end up spending hours creating names, then getting screwed over.

The post you made saying Squadhelp is a scam is worthless. Unless you show your initial interaction and statements from this company to varify this process, you cannot state that the company is a scam. One bad experience does not condemn an entire crowdsourcing agency!
My investigation into whether or not they are legit shows proof of many facts they are a legit service and operate in a legitimate way.
Your single example of yourself/other having an issue is sketchy to say the least. I request proof of your interaction with this company. Documented proof.
I've spoken to many of the contestents of Squadhelp and can reassure you there is no evidence that your statements about them are the true.
Meaning you cannot have one bad experience, and then report an entire service as a scam!
There will always be a few contestents turning in wrong answers. This is common as it is a contest. Your position is to over look any replies you don't find worthy! Not accept them as the final answers!
