Stainsafe - Simens ripoff Not honoring the warranty contract Simens not taking responisibility Palm Beach Gardens Florida

We purchased a Couch/love seat from seamens on 1/20/2003 delivered to us on april. We purchased the stainsafe warranty along with the purchase.

We had a food stain on the sofa and tried to call stainsafe with in the 5 days period as mentioned in the contract. The person, who took the details entered the details and told us it was denied. The reason was accumulation of stains ( we had three stains, and it happened on the same day).

Though we mentioned that it was a food stain, she delibrately (looks like, unknown source for the stain). We asked her to repoen the case and correct the details, which she refused and said she could not do it. She said, Once opened, neither it could be reopened nor we could enter a new case.

I called simens customer service, and they refused to take responsibility for the product, they sold in the first place. I sent a email to the disputes@stainsafe.com and still had not gotten any reponse back.

After doing a search in internet, it looks like stainsafe got lot of complaints like this.

I am very furious that even a big company like simens selling products with a bad repuatation. If any other people with similar problems, have any success going after these guys. I am planning to take it to florida consumer department and see, whether they can do any thing.This is incredible rip-off and shame that a big company like Simens/Levitz is also participating in this.
