I subscribed to this paper for 6 months and paid up front. I specifically let the salesman know I only wanted 6 months, as I was moving after that time.
Star-Telegram continued to throw papers for two more months. Then they sent me bills demanding the amount of about $18.00. I let them know I requested only thhe time period of 6 months so anything after that was not my responsibility. Then they turned my bill over to collection agency.
This is very unethical. I told them legally if they continued to give me a product I did ot request is is not my responsibility to pay for it, they told me newspapersare different, you must pay!!!
I have since filed complaint with state Attorney General,will file with local BBB.
Anyone that experiences this needs to file with State Attorney General so they can trend thi and they will investigate this fraud. Maybe we victims should file class action Lawsuit against this outfit!
