Steve Klos Stephen J. Klos Systematically took money from me under the guise of an investment. Ponzi scheme Mercer Island, Washington

I met Steve Klos at a health club and had known him for many years. We became friends; Ive had him over to my house on many occasions. He had many friends there. Over time he began telling people about this fantastic investment that we could be involved in, AminoPath, a nutraceutical based company based in Oregon, I believe. Rena Davis was the owner.

Several of us signed up and paid substantial amounts of money. I personally over several years had given him $140,000.00. This was my retirement account, and he knew it. Well, apparently he bilked several other club members out of their savings too. He stole money from the members in his church. 

I recently saw on the news that he was being prosecuted by WA State Prosecutor. I have not heard anything since. 

I have since moved to San Diego, CA. I don't know how I can ever recoup this money. I don't know the state of affairs with his prosecution, the man is over 80, so who knows where they are going with this. I assume that my money is gone, but always hold out hope that someday I can recover something of this investment.

He was involved with a disbarred attorney in Portland, OR, named Brian Waliser, who was part of the company and then suddenly dropped from sight. I cannot reach him either.

Needless to say, Steve Klos acts as is he's done nothing wrong. He's a thief. He has ruined the lives of many many people in Seattle. It sickens me to think that I regarded this man as a friend.

I saw this website and thought I would put out one last hope that someone might know more information about what has happened since I left 2 years ago. Is there any hope or am I an optimist?
