Stratton & Feinstein call consumers saying they will help you with your credit card debt and mortgage, because they know there are a lot of companys out there that are ripping consumers off. They claim to be lawyers that will help you for the special price of $750/month for 6 months! All they need is your bank account info! This sounds familiar! Another company; 1st Universal Lending made me the same offer, but for $550/month for 3 to 4 months. I went with 1st Universal Lending for 4 months and got nothing. I called my mortgage company and they had only been contacted once during that 4 month time. 1st Universal Lending also told me I didn't have to pay my mortgage while I was under their protection against foreclosure. Stratton & Feinstein also said the same thing. After checking this website, my husband found that the two companies are father and son. 1st Universal Lending runs Stratton & Feinstein. I am now behind on my mortgage, ruined my credit and can't even get a car financed. They were claiming to help me get straightened out and boy, they did! I will never trust anyone calling to help, especially based in Florida!!

You should file a complaint with the Florida Bar Association: www.floridabar.org. This is the Florida governmental body which disciplines attorneys. At a minimum, you say that Stratton & Feinstein called you re. your debt. An attorney may not call a stranger to solicit legal work from them. The Bar may also be interested in your other allegations. Note: I filed a complaint with the Bar because Stratton & Feinstein solicited me through a company called Summit Financial (which also uses the name National Credit Services).

Does the rip off report do any researc at all????

I reccommended this Law Firm to my daughter and she told me that she saw this report while researching the company. I was shocked. Stratton & Feinstein saved me from what was sure to be an ugly bankruptcy. I was robbed by debt consolidation company after debt consolidation company. When I called these attorneys they were very upfront with me about my situation and what would be reasonable expectations.
After researching them and seeing that they were A+ rated and highly reccomended I retained their Law Firm to settle my debts.
First, you should know that my phone stopped ringing from creditors within a few days after I signed with them and I had been receiving at least 50 calls per day from those credit collector bast*rds. That in itself was worth every penny. Then, not only did they settle all my accounts quickly, but I ended up cutting my monthly payments by 63%, which was way more than I expected to receive.
So, in the end my balances were reduced far greater than what I paid for the legal service and I'm saving over $1300 a month. So, you can probably see why reading something like this really ticks me off. If you want a great attorney call these people.
Also, if you want to reaserch a company I'd suggest looking into the Better Business Bureau. According the the "rip off report" every company in America is a bad company.
