Strikeforce Tree Service - Walt Davis - Jim Westfall Charged Credit Card Without Authorization, Did Not Complete Work Woodstock Georgia

My husband and I hired Strikeforce Tree Service to clean a portion of our property of vines, brambles and scrub trees for $2000. What we got was a clear cut of our property less the most mature trees. The ground was trashed.

We were told we had four beetle infested trees. These could be removed for $700. Only two of the four trees were removed.

We were then charged an additional $2500 to restore the property to a usable condition. We did not authorize the final charges to our credit card. Strikeforce Tree Service did NOT complete the work as contracted. My husband and I have since done so.

We attempted to contact the contractor who performed the work and the owner of the company on multiple occasions. All we wanted was the work to be fully completed or a reasonable refund. We were advised by the owner to contact his attorney. He then hung up mid-call. He and his contractor now refuse to accept calls from us.

I pursued this matter through Bank of America who holds the credit card on which the unauthorized charges were placed. Bank of America has refunded the charges in full, and will seek retribution from Strikeforce on our behalf.

This is very frightening. Had we paid cash or with a check, we would be without any recourse. Buyer beware!!!
