BUYER BEWARE!!! Do not purchase any products from Stuff4Childern.com (Bizhope) or the owner Hope. They sell mostly ride on cars, and though the price is reasonable at first glance, the product is far from a high quality product. We bought her top of the line BMW X8 ride on car in December for Preston's birthday, and were very excited about it, but then the car came in and it has been down hill from there. 

We love the idea of the car, but we expect it to work, and look like it was advertised, which this was not. We also expect the vendor to stand behind their product, or want to please their customer, but Stuff4childdren.com and Hope could not care less. We were even going to deal with the many defections and deformities, cause we loved the idea of the car so much, but then one thing after the other starting breaking after 2 weeks, and we barely used it, so we wanted a different version. We never wanted to return the car. We just wanted a exchange. 

We immediately called Hope who is the owner, and left a message, as a matter of fact many messages before we got a call back. She apologized and said she would get back with us, and never did. We finally could not take the car anymore, and wanted a new one, not a refund, but her answer is I have to speak to the manufacturer, so you are not even buying from her, so there is no recourse for anything she sells. 

It took almost 2 month for Hope to agree to take back the car supposedly, but we had to pay for shipping back to them, even though we already paid for shipping to us. We then went to secure shipping and the car was going to cost $100.00 to ship back. The car was only $300.00 to purchase. We immediately called her to ask if we could use their discounted shipping rates and she could charge our card. She said she would check with manufacturer, but she never got back to us.

We finally got in touch with her 3 weeks later, and she said that they would we could not even send the car back for a refund cause it was too long now, even though we had been working on a resolution for 3 months, and it was too long due to her non response. She did not offer to replace, fix, or anything, so know we have a $300.00 paperweight, which is why I am writing this review here and everywhere so nobody else gets hurt by her. Stuff4children.com is a dishonest company, and so is the owner Hope. 


The products have no warranty, and now she has changed her policy that the only way you can get a refund is if the car comes dead on arrival. So if it breaks a day later or and hour later, and things fall apart, or if the product does not function like it should, then too bad. We even took screen shots of her website when we bought it just as protection for her purpose, and she had recently changed her policy and tried to say it was there the whole time. We then send her the screenshots as proof it wasn't there when we purchased, and her answer was, " well I have had to have refund policy duh". "Every company has a refund policy".

I said, you had a policy just not the one you have now, that you claimed to have then. It has been the worst buying experience we have ever had, and we buy lots of stuff online. She went on to say that her ride on cars are cheaper the anyone elses, and I said what good is that if the car does not work The other companies like Toys R US and Buy By Baby stand behind their products, and make sure their customers are satisfied, so I would rather spend $100 more for a car that I know will work and will be taken care of if something happens. I know this is long an all over the place, cause as I am writing this I am so upset that we got into mess. 

List of Issues in since we got the car

1) The car has many many defects and imperfections throughout the body. Many scratches on the plastic and chrome and the mold is not smooth and shiny in throughout the whole car. In many areas like where the headlights are connected to the body there are chips and rough edges where the connect, The whole car was not put together or made with care. I highly doubt the car is suppose to look like this. Nobody would buy it. It looks very rushed together. Not a quality product at all. Cool concept if it was done right, but not as is. It honestly looks like a used vehicle.

2) The whole back of the body which was suppose to be pre-assembled and was not included in the directions to be put together by us was in pieces with no instruction on how to put it together, so we can only assume we did it right. According to the instructions the whole body was to be fully assembled.

3) The same goes for the framing under the body, and their are still many screws and washers left over.

4) The front end chrome pieces which are also part of the body were suppose to be installed, but instead were not. There was styrofoam in its place, and the right one does not fit properly and is not molded to fit right.

5) Their is a yellow wire with with circle chrome piece in motor area that is not connected to anything and no instructions on what to do with it or where it should be connected. I am not sure it is important. Also the pieces in the motor area, except for what is connected to the wheel are not placed securely, and wires are pulling on one another. If that is how it is suppose to be then fine, but it seems like while riding it would put a lot of stress on the connections.

6) The right left hub cap does not fit properly or stay on, and routinely falls off

7) One of windshield screws goes right through the hold that connects windshield to car base, and thus is not secure 

8) The battery gauge inside car came in cracked all the chrome pieces around gauges are scratched.

9) The steering wheel sound no longer work, but did for the first week. There is also a battery compartment in the steering wheel that unscrews, but there are not battery connectors for it inside. I assume that is what powers the sounds, but the sounds were working, so maybe they changed it.

10) The fake mirror material on side mirrors is far dented and beveled.

11) when we were driving the hook that helps control the wheels from the steering wheel actually came out while driving so we were not able to steer the car, but I was able to fix it.

12) This is not a big deal, but none of the stickers are printed well or properly placed on car. All off center. Bothers Jaime more then me.

13) The seat belt does not even stay on tight during the ride, and the though I like it when you first go there is a big jolt and wheelie that happens, and the same in reverse on max mode. I am sure some parents would say it was not safe. It makes my fiance' very nervous, but Preston likes it, and I think it is funny, but the take off and stop should be smoother, and maybe it generally is. I have no way of knowing.

14) The horn does not work and no sounds play from it (the sterring wheel sound worked for a week and then stopped working all together. Our 2yr old son's very part.

I could say a lot of things, but there are so many untruths in the original report made, that it would take me quite sometime to analyze it to you piece by piece.  I will do this instead. 

First, let me supply you with the tracking number for the person above from Baldwin who submitted a rebuttal.  It is Fedex 122645915039809.  An error was made in saying UPSit has been almost a yearnot a difficult thing to get mixed up. 

More importantly, please note this.  The rebuttal states that the car was bought last May.  Note the shipping data as can be verified by the Fedex tracking system/number above confirms that the shipment originated May, 2012.  Please note also that it originates from the same point as Mrs. Williams more recent shipment of February, 2013.  It gets delivered to Baldwin May, 2012.  Mrs. Williams gets delivered to Taylor, February, 2013. 

Why am I telling you this?  Because I am proving to you that the rebuttals presented here in support of our company are indeed genuine rebuttals from past customers.

Also, if you look below many of our products on our website, you will find feedback.  Most people do not leave a feedback.  I, myself, have been guilty most times of buying things online and not leaving a feedback on the website. 

We started selling kids electric ride on toys online, along with some other products, in 2010 on a couple of marketplace websites when we were trying to figure out what were our best options.  See link below for one such marketplace.  We do not sell tons on this particular marketplace site, and again, most people do not leave a feedback.  However, please see our feedback, so far.

We started our Stuff4Children.com website in mid 2011. 

Yes, there are times when things go wrong.  It happens in every business.  Yet, we do try our very best to resolve issues that arise, as fast as possible.  We would never, never, ever just ignore a customer complaint.    As of the time of this writing, here is the last feedback that was sent to us via email.

I will also supply you with a few other tracking numbers :-  Fedex - 122645915074794.  This customer ordered this car in November, 2012.  Then here is a USPS tracking number for parts sent to customer to resolve an issue the customer was having with the car:  USPS- 9101969010386896185761.   In January, 2013 the same customer ordered a second car from us.   This one was shipped from our smaller warehouse in Texas.  Here is the tracking number for the second car ordered by same customer:  UPS - 1ZW26E600341333433. 

Here is another: -  Fedex 122645915080573, 122645915093856  - Note these went to the same destination.  We had to replace a non-working vehicle. 

Here are three orders delivered to businesses, one to a law firm, the second to a cycle shop and the other to a car dealership:-  Fedex 122645915087183,  Fedex 122645915060797,  &  Fedex - 952752415008655.  

The originator of this report has threatened to use their expertise in web marketing to ruin our business.  So, I will not be surprised that any complaints popping up now, are all their doing.

I purchased a ride on for my granddaughter's birthday it arrived on the day specified, in good condition and fully charged....I so far have not had any issues with the purchase or merchandise, for those who think this is a phony rebuttal I will also list my tracking number 122645915100592.
Hope is a very nice person and I would recommend her company and products without hesitation to friends as well as coworkers.. Just a happy satisfied customer....thank you.
Stuff4children.com specified putting parts together and I had no problem doing this alone, definitely when the time comes to upgrade I will use the same company.

I purchased a ride on car for my granddaughter's 1st birthday she loves the car, I put the wheels on all by myself and found the instructions to be quite accurate.  I did have a few issues with receiving the free license plate, but after speaking with Hope, I received the plate shortly there after. Hope also kept in touch with me to make sure everything was going okay with the car, and to wish my granddaughter a happy birthday. If I had to purchase another ride on I would not hesitate to purchase or recommend this company for that goal. The car that I purchased was the pink and purple convertible she looks adorable in it, it has alot of power and the battery life is sufficient enough for what we use, it also came fully charged right out of the box.....Love this Car.

These rebuttals beyond the original complaint are all written by Hope and are completely Fake. It just proves what kind of operation she is running. I wish I had this type of experience, and the this complaint would not exist. Stay away from this Stuff4Children.com and the manufacturer of these type cars. They are not a quality product, and top of that they are not safe. When you use the remote control on the cars and go forward or backwards it pops wheelies. The axle has come completely off 3 separate times in the 3 weeks we tried to use it.

Hope barely answers her phone let alone at 6am. If she was so willing to ship out parts or replace items on her own dime, then how come that was never offered to me? How come she told us we had to ship back the car on our dime even though we paid for shipping to us in the first place? I tell you why, cause they know the car costs the general consumer $100 to ship back to California, and it is not worth it. Any reputable company who charges for shipping sends you an RA number and pays for shipping back. We even asked to use their discounted shipping rates and to charge our card, and of course she said she had to ask the manufacturer, and then never got back to us for 3 weeks.

Then when we followed up to see what was going on, she was rude, and said no the we can't and now it is has been too long to return the car. She offered no replacement parts or solutions. I have proof of it all Feel to message me for the details. Do not believe of these fake reviews supporting her, and honestly this is against Ripoffreport.com policy, which is a great site for these type situations and at least allows us to tell our story so people know what they are getting into.

Everything I said is verifiable by her own policies. I am just making sure people know what kind of product and company this is, and what questions to ask if they decide to purchase from her. Hopefully nobody will get burned again by this company or these inferior ride on cars. It is too bad as well, cause the premise of them is amazing. Too bad the car does and the company does not deliver on that premise with a quality product, and Hope does not deliver on the customer service or a commitment to what she sells.

She would always pass the buck that she had to ask manufacturer, and she only makes $50.00 on the cars, so there was little she could do. How come nobody else sells these cars but her? Not one reputable company. Not Toys R Us. Not Babies R Us. Not anyone. Stay away, and buy from a manufacturer that stands behind their products. Read her current warranty and return policy located on her site, which she put up just because of the issues we had with her.

She did not have them on the site previously, and then lied to us that they were always there, but we took screen shots of the her site at time of purchase just in case a nightmare like this happened, and it did. All we wanted was a car that worked for a two year old. We did not even want our money back. How come if she is so great that we still have a car that is defective?

If so many people had such good experiences, how come there are no reviews anywhere on the web abut her? How come she only has 95 likes on Facebook? How come nobody comments on her pages? How come there are no reviews on her site? Funny, how 3 supposed former customers came out of the woodwork 4 days after I wrote this complaint that the would not even know existed? Where are their reviews previously? Any person can put 2 and 2 together Hope. Your fake rebuttals are not going to full anybody.

At the very least people who find this will ask the right questions and then at least protect themselves so they have recourse if they need it.

Again, I am available for anyone that wants to see proof from me that what I am saying is the truth.

I have purchased a product from Stuff4Children about a year ago in may to be exact. I ordered a ferrari for my nephews second birthday and he loved it.

The process didn't take long at all Hope was very kind to me and helped me with every concern I had. She helped me do everything by phone and even helped me make license plates for my nephew.

I received the car right on time about two days before his birthday. There were no scratches, evey piece of the car was in sealed bags, there was even extra pieces just in case some were dispaced. The only thing that was dented was the box the car came in and the UPS truck admitted to accidently dropping a heavy product on the box and paid me for their wrong doing.

Till this day my nephew drives his car . My experience was awesome with this company and I am very happy that I met hope she is an outstanding person and an awesome seller. I wish everyone could have the experience I had.

Do Not Believe These Rebuttals For Stuff 4 Children Ride On Cars (Bizhope) in California They Are Fake!!

Again another fake rebuttal from Hope at Stuff4children.com. This should tell you all you need to know about her and the way she does business.

This complaint is no more then 4 days old originally and all of sudden previous customers are posting rebuttals to the complaint that is not even visible really yet. Ask yourself why would a previous customer write a rebuttal on complaint they knew nothing about? The only person who even knows about the complaint is Hope @ Stuff4children.com in California (Bizhope), cause Ripoff Report sends the complain to the vendor in question. 

I can tell you that none of this is true, cause I am an actually someone who purchased a car from Hope and was offered no exchange, no refund, no replacement parts, and was lied to routinely, and I am happy to show you our correspondence, which tells a much difference story then the fictitious stories being told here.

I am also using my real name and am not hiding behind Internet Buyer. My email address is also available for you to contact me. 

Again, this is for your protection, so just make sure you know the warranty, and refund policy before you buy, and know that you are not getting a well made quality product, which is why these cars are sold by nobody else. If you are comfortable with that arrangement, then by all means purchase a car from her, and cross your fingers and hope it works for more then 2 weeks. 


PS - @Hope....Just so you know the more rebuttals you add and make up to this the stronger you make it. I want to thank-you for that, cause soon no matter what you search in relation to your business, this report will show on that search. :)

Great Customer Service

I purchased a ride on from this company and I have to say not only was I extremely happy with the product, but Hope, the owner, provides great customer service!  I was on the fence with ride on's as I was purchasing one for my daughter's first birthday.  It was very important to me that the car have a seat belt and have remote control option so that I could control the cars movement.  Hope took the time to review my options with me and find the perfect car for my daughter having all the specs I required.  Not only did she take the time out to help me, she did so at 5 and 6 am in the morning her time as stuff for children is located on the west coast and I am on the east coast.  I would call her at 9am my time, she would pick up and jump right on her computer to help with my order.  After I ordered the car, she told me if I wasn't satisfied I could return the car and be reimbursed the full charge.  She also followed up with me after the car was delivered to make sure I was completely satisfied.  The car arrived in perfect condition and my daughter loves it!  I must say I am not sure why you had such a different experience then I did with Hope, but if you are in the market for a designer ride on car at a great price, stuff4children.com is most definitely for you!

Wondering How You Came Across This Report on Stuff4children.com (Bizhope) Defective Ride on Car

Why or How would you have come across this report I made if you had purchased a car previously from this company? Why would you be searching for information about Stuff4children.com? Seems odd that a few days after I filed this complaint, that someone who already previously purchased a car would come across this new data which is just days old.

I am guessing this is actually Stuff4children.com and not a previous buyer.  If not, then that is good for you and I am glad it worked out for you. I wish we he had the same result and exposure to stuff4children.com and Hope, but unfortunately we did not, and now we are stuck with a $300 paperweight.

It is not a pleasing everyone situation. We wanted to try and work it out, but were given no options to do so and Hope made no effort to solve the problem with replacement parts or anything. As a matter of fact Hope herself said that there is no warranty on the product and returns would only be accepted if the car arrived dead on arrival recently, so again I find it odd that she bent over backwards and sent anything on our own dime, cause she has said repeatedly she only makes $50 per car, and could not pay for anything, and that the manufacturer would not pay for anything. 

She even told us that we would have to send the car back on our dime, even though we already paid for shipping from them to us.

She actually dragged the process out to the point where it would be hard for us to get a credit from my bank. She also lied about her policies, and again I have all the correspondence to prove it. 

For anyone interested in seeing our correspondence back and forth to each other, I would be happy to show it to them, as I have saved every letter back and forth, and you can see for yourself. I just do not want this to happen to someone else. She is not a reputable car supplier, and if you have any real issues, you will not be supported. 

We would have been happy to exchange the car for a new one. That was our intention the whole time, but exchanging of the car or parts was never given to us as an option, though this was way more then a broken bumper or mirror. The car was completely defective and not as advertised. 

Again, if your experience was different if this is a real person, which I strongly doubt cause really the only one who would know about this complaint within days would be Hope and Stuff4children.com cause Ripoff Report would send the complaint to her to review.

Whomever comes across this can decide for themselves and make sure the get the warranty information and return policy in writing, and ask all the pertinent questions for their protection. For $100 cheaper is it really worth buying a car that does not work after 2 weeks? or if you have any issues other then it being dead on arrival and you have no recourse? If you are satisfied with the responses then by all means purchase the car, but I just want you to know what you are getting into and what questions to ask for your protection. We purchase a lot of stuff online and I have never made one complaint before in my life, and take this very seriously.

I know this report will be around forever, and will impact her business, and would never take something like this lightly. Again, take this information for what it is worth, and make your own mind up.

We bought a ride on car from this same company.  The first car that arrived did have a broken bumper and a broken mirror, possibly damaged in the shipping process. We contacted Hope the owner by phone.  She requested that we send her pictures of the damages.  We did.

The next day, we received a new tracking number where she had sent out a new replacement car and she wrote and said that the mirror could be replaced, but the bumper was an issue, so a replacement car was being sent to us.  

We asked how to return the car we had.  She said not to worry to use it for parts.  Our replacement car arrived a few days later.  I am very surprised at this report because in our dealing with Hope she was very very professional and very quick in her responses to us....doesn't make sense, so wanted to explain our experience.  Some times you just can't make everyone happy.
