Success Express Sales RipoffSelling magazine subscriptions that never arrive Gig Harbor Washington
*Consumer Comment: Standard Subscription Practices
We paid $73.00 to a nice young man, who was VERY appreciative as this money would help him get through college, for a 24 month subscription to VOGUE Magazine on 04-10-2007. It is now 06-12-2007 and we have not received a single magazine. The check cleared a Bank of America account in Gig Harbor, WA on 04/20/2007. It appears now, based on other similiar reports, that it is simply a scam operation. We are going to pursue through law enforcement as most people simply give up when the amount is under $100 but I have heard reports as far away as Colorado, so this is a very organized attempt at fraud. Get on board if you can.

Standard Subscription Practices
AUTHOR: Larry - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Saturday, January 03, 2009
The time period described in this report was two months and two days. It's general industry practice that it takes six to ten weeks to begin to receive a subscription to a magazine that is published monthly. This is because of the lead time imposed by printing and second class postal processing. This is true even if you subscribe directly from the publisher. So you owed these folks at least two more weeks of patience. Did the magazine start arriving after you submitted this report?
