After buy a used car from them ($16,000) we were stranded a new of times due to faulty battery.

They gave us a very old battery to solve the problem, however it was completely dead and complete garbage. I had no chice but to eith call a tow truck or replace the battery myself.

They agreed to pay for a replacement battery initially then changed their mind after the car was paid in full.

Very unprofessional response!

It is very unfortunate to hear of your situation regarding the battery, and we dearly sympathize with your issue. However in this circumstance the 2013 Mazda CX-5 was not sold with a defective battery, if it were then the vehicle would not have been able to drive off the lot, or would have been noticed asap, instead you later came forward with the battery "complaint" almost a month later. You purchased the vehicle on August 8, 2017, and NO issue was brought up with the battery because the battery had no issues at all. Then almost a month later you got in contact with us regarding several small issues regarding the vehicle, he provided us a list of things to check. We went through the whole list and addressed and resolved all issues (Even specifically delivering a small part to his work which is over 20 km from the dealership). In this list the issue of a the battery being defective was brought up. This was most likely a result of Mr. ***** perhaps leaving his vehicle lights on overnight as a battery doesn't just go defective on its own overnight. If the vehicle had been sold defective (which it was not) you would have addressed it before purchasing the vehicle and more importantly we would not sell a vehicle with an issue as big as this. After discussing with you even though the battery was not our fault we still provided you with a new battery that was in pristine condition and so that had resolved the issue we thought. However several weeks later we received an email from you asking us to pay for a battery replacement costs , even though we had already given him a new battery (he would not tell us what he did with the replacement battery we provided him, instead only asking for payment with a receipt). We could no longer continue to be taken for granted. We understand the customer is always right, but this had gotten out of hand (we have addressed and resolved all of your complaints, 10 issues in total). We have been extremely friendly and reasonable with you (e.g. We replaced his Touch Screen Radio, Plastic Parts, BATTERY, Mechanical Inspections, A/C recharge, etc.) And still on top of all this we have even given you a complementary 6 Month Warranty with the purchase of his 2013 Mazda CX-5. We value and appreciate your choice to allow us to serve you with a vehicle. We are disheartened to hear of this complaint, unfortunately we will not be able to help you Mr. ***** because the defective battery is not our doing, the vehicle was not sold with a defective battery otherwise you would have been able to drive it home, we have taken care of you to the best of our ability with our service, and help. But we can not be held accountable for a consumers mistakes they made with their vehicle (e.g. Leaving the car lights on overnight so the battery drains). We will also submit all invoices, work orders, the list of repairs we've done with the battery included with your signature, warranty papers, paperwork, to BBB for further consideration. We are sorry you have to go through this process Mr. *****. We wish you best of luck, if you have any questions feel free to get into contact with us anytime at 604-431-5552!
