Summer Bay Resorts, Top Flight Marketing, Orlando Welcome Center RIP OFF IN ROACH MOTEL ON SUMMER BAY RESORTS TIMESHARE TOUR RUN AWAY!! Clermont Florida

This is the letter I sent to the Better Businees Bureau after my horrible experience with Summer Bay Resorts, the Welcome Center Associated with Summer Bay and Top Flight Marketing, who sold me the package. Honestly, I don't even feel that the letter conveys how truly horrible htis experience was. RUN RUN RUN IF ANY OF THESE COMPANIES CONTACT YOU!! I THINK THEY ARE ALL IN THIS SCAM TOGETHER!

(FYI-THE ROACH MOTEL WAS IN DAVENPORT, FL-MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!)

I was sold a $50 vacation resort getaway at Summer Bay Resorts in Orlando (It is actually not in Orlando) by a marketing rep from Top Flight Marketing in November of 2006. I went on the getaway on May 26. I was not in a resort or a hotel near Disney as promised. I was in a smelly Hampton Inn that was 20 miles away from the Welcome Center where we had to register.

I complained and was told by Joe at the Welcome Center that I should not have come to Orlando during Memorial Day weekend. I reserved this months in advance and was told they had plenty of room! The manager Marc said that you get what you pay for. The sales rep (who made offensive comments about the president and America throughout the presentation)pressured us to buy a timeshare at the Summer Bay Resort. We were supposed to be able to use the amminities and stay nearby. We were not offered any amminities (Until we went back and asked) and we were too far from the resort to use them anyway. Everyone we complained to said that no one is in charge. The Summer Bay People blamed the Welcome Center and the marketing company (Top Flight) and told us that if we would buy a timeshare we would get a nicer hotel. We did not take them up on this and left after one day.

These people are horrible!! Lack of customer service and competence on every level possible. I learned my lesson !! I checked out of the hotel after one horrible night and completing the time share tour. I want my $30 back. They made me pay $15 per night on top of the vacation fee and a hidden $8 breakfast fee. I only stayed one night of the three and paid $45 for the hotel fees. I want my $30 (the differnce they kept) and an apology!! I think that all three of these companies are in this scam together! I would rather be home than in a roach motel nowhere near Disney. Prior to going on the vacation, they were extremly evasive everytime I called to find out where/when the tour would take place and where I was staying. If they had told the truth, I would have never gone!

I tried to resolve all this with them, but there are no supervisors available at any company on any level. The Welcome Center said they have a supervisor named Anthony and another named Mandy, but neither will take my calls!! Please help and also please prevent others from wasting their time and money on this miserable expreience!

I also would like to add as far as Marc's you get what you pay for comment....I am not cheap! This was sold to me at my work by a Top Flight rep as a nice resort getaway. If they wanted to sell these timeshares, then why would they put people miles away in a crappy place?
