Summit Management Services, LLC , Will Knotts Roach Will Knotts DEPOSIT SCAM, WIRE FRAUD, LEASE BREACH Oxford MS

If not the biggest scam rental and management company in Oxford, Mississippi avoid them at all cost Summit Management Services, LLC is by far the worst. We lost over $1,500 plus more. I can say that the worst worker that shouldn't even be allowed in the building is Roach (Will) Knotts. His partner Jason Bailey has him there as part time janitor and spy to rip students off of their deposit.

Nothing was ever fixed from leaks to washer damage. Roach(Will) could be disable and needs to take bath/shower.  If at all possible, do not rent from Summit. In short, they tricked 4 college students into signing a lease then threatened us to not back out. The house is big and cheap, but it's not worth it to rent from Summit. Tonya Knight was confrontational and aggressive in our meeting when we were just trying to understand if we'd actually signed the lease.

She said something along the lines of "You signed it, and it's your fault for not asking to see it or asking what the papers were." The lease specified that Summit could charge us $18,000 if we backed out. Since we've moved in,  Summit has been very slow to help with maintenance issues, and they usually don't help at all. Lisa Griffis has been very unhelpful in fixing dangerous issues with the house we were not informed of. Plus, 90% of the time you call the receptionist is "away from the desk" and your voicemail won't be returned.

If you do get through to someone, you're told "your message will be passed on." DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE PREDATORY AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR TENANTS. I attached our refund of our security deposit. The house was cleaned spotlessly and there was no damage to the walls. We paid for our own repairs throughout the year to get the deposit back. That didn’t work because SUMMIT STEALS FROM THEIR CLIENTS. THEY SHOULD BE LOCKED AWAY LIKE THE CROOKED THIEVES THEY ARE.
