Douglas Terell, Superior Electronics TOTAL RIP OFF BEWARE Lancaster California
*UPDATE Employee: It's just sad.

*UPDATE Employee: No Factual information Given.
I purchased a "new" computer from this shyster company the end of last year only to find out it had "used" parts in it.
After taking this up with the employees and management they refused to do anything.
I talked to the owner Douglas Terrell and he is the rudest person I have ever met with no business savvy.
Since this all happened I have searched and talked with others and low and behold this has happened to a lot of other people.
I also discovered that this company is if deep financial distress on the verge of liquidation.
Beware of this company selling substandard and used products as new ripping people off their hard earned money

It's just sad.

Ok, lets go ahead and say the BBB is not out for consumer protection (they actually are and will work with a consumer to get a resolution) B.E.A.R. (Bureau of Electronics and Appliance Repair) actually has more power than the BBB than can actually shut down a company, chain the doors if you will, and prevent them from operating. So if anyone had a valid, legitimate claim of fraud against this company they would file a complaint with B.E.A.R. and see to it that this company was shut down for good. The problem is that unlike online review sites. State agencies are actually accountable for their actions. You need to provide proof to back up your claim. In the absence of that your claim is dismissed. So the only recourse is to come onto an online review site and libel them using nothing factual or true. Its a sad state of a persons character when they are so bitter and angry as to spend a considerable amount of their time traipsing around the internet trying their best to exact their vindictive revenge by making up false statements.

The BBB?
You can not be serious
The BBB is no consumer protection agency
If anything the BBB is a Business protection agency
That's why businesses pay them
Best place to check is consumer affairs or Bureau of Electronics and Appliance Repair
Better yet just do a little google search after reading the reports on ripoffreport.com You can learn a lot form these

After reviewing this supposed customers complaint, I can't find any solid evidence that he or she is even our customer. He or she even lists two different names in their complaint.
There are of course some simple facts to dispute both of the identical claims made by this person.
The company Superior Electronics has never been in "Deep Financial Trouble nor have we ever been " on the verge of liquidation"
We have never and will never sell a computer that is marked as new with used components inside. To do so would be fraud. I would think if this person had actually purchased a computer system from us in the condition that they alleged. They would in fact have filed legal action against us. Again something that has never happened.
if " low and behold this has happened to a lot of other people" were true then why is there only three reports on this site. Two of them from this same person. If we operated as this person has accused there is now way we would still be in business. Nor could we maintain an AA rating with the better business bureau
What is true is that Superior Electronics has been in business in the Antelope Valley for over 18 years. We have maintained an AA rating with the Better Business bureau. We have a satisfied customer base numbering in the thousands. Our record of doing honest business helping our customers solve their computer issues is what has kept us in business for 18 years.
Since this dispute and this rebuttal is to help consumers decide whether or not to purchase from our company I feel it is pertinent to point out this sites own legal disclaimer.

Let's look at the first part.
Thank you for visiting our Ripoff Report web site. By viewing this site you agree that you will not hold the Ripoff Report or any of their owners, employees or entities responsible for any information contained herein.
So right off the bat we are not allowed to go after rip off reports for advertising false information about our company. Since these reports show up in search engines like Google and Yahoo I do consider this to be a form of advertising. Good to see they are looking out for #1
The Ripoff Report is a non-substantiated source of information.
This means I can come on here and say so and so company sold me the golden gate bridge and will not deliver to my house they also promised me Atlantis and the pyramids. And because it does not have to be substantiated they are not responsible for the fact that what I just said was both impossible and a lie. So the truth really takes a back seat on this site, in fact it probably takes that third row seat that nobody wants in way back.
The information provided in the Ripoff Report is the sole creation of consumers from the general public. Please verify any claims that are made in this site, and make your own decisions about any companies and individuals listed within.
This is probably the most valuable part for the consumer. It basically says that you should take anything written on this site with a grain of salt. The validity of information on this site is not guaranteed or substantiated (as claimed in the previous paragraph) and that in fact the information on this site is the sole creation of the consumer whether it is the truth or something someone dreamed up.
Warning! The content within may be offensive, due to the unedited nature.
Is this ever the truth, it is offensive a company like this is allowed to operate.
To close this rebuttal I would ask that anyone reading this complaint or any complaint on this site to look elsewhere for facts. I would suggest the Better Business bureau or (((REDACTED))) or even (((REDACTED))) these companies check facts and actually try to give consumers honest information. What this site does is actually true to its name, a Rip off.
