I registered with Supportkids thinking they would be honest and upfront with me. Big mistake!!! It was about three days after the 7th day of signing my contract when the NCP and I agreed that he would start sending small check voluntarily until he was able to get on his feet. I called Supportkids and explained the situation.

The lady on the phone told me that if he started sending very small payments that they would not take 34% and they would close my case, because Supportkids would not be advantagous for me. After I hung up with her I found this website!!! Needless to say I was horrified.

I immediatley called back and explained what the first woman told me. I was basically told "too bad, so sad"...So I was basically lied to. I went to my local CSE office and a supervisor immediatley changed my address back to the local office and advised not to ever seek Supportkids help again.I don't know if everyone else that I read about on here tried to change their address, but if you haven't..DO IT!!!

After fighting with Supportkids since April 2007 to get them to cancel my contact. (You can read my original complaint on this website.) After 5 months of fighting, I have finally won. I have only won 1/2 the battle but at least they canceled the contract. My biggest asset to have was a complaint that I made with the Better Business Bureau. File a complaint with them.

Supportkids will fight it but after the second denial it will go to mediation. You then will calling Supportkids's bluff and that should do the trick. Also file a complaint with the attorney general office. A have an investigator working with me and he advised me of all my rights, which came in helpful in fighting my case with Supportkids.

If you have a court order for child support, then Supportkids can not legally take their fees from your child support. Tell Supportkids that they are in contempt of your court order. Also you can change your address so that your money is sent to you and not supportkids.

What ever you do be persistent and never give up. They will push you and even try to scare you into staying into your contract. Just tell them that your contract is not legal because they are taking their fees from your court ordered child support. I hope this helps.
