SWPI LLC and John Ross John Ross South West Private Investors Submitted fradulent term sheet, took 30K "refundable" deposit, had no intent of funding and didn't return deposit - judgement awarded Phoenix Arizona

Mr John Ross representing SWPI of AZ signed a term sheet to fund a very lucrative deal for himself and his company in the Medical Marijuana space knowing that time was of the essence (which is why his terms were so favorable). 

After jumping through dozens of hoops and irrelevant obstacles placed in the pathway by John Ross as a "moving requirement" to fund our committed loan, and also spending an additional 6K in appraisal fees and other fees that he was supposed to pay for out of our deposit, Mr Ross went silent after all 38 contingencies were satisfyed by our company.

After surviving his 3 months of delay tactics (beyond the original 60 day timeline he committed to), and funding the added costs, we satisfied all of his contingencies (reasonable and unreasonable) and upon doing so, Mr Ross not only refused to provide the contract documents for funding that was committed to in his LOI, but also refused to return our deposit, claiming he still planned on funding our 10MM loan - with no contracts after 5 months (and promised contractuallty in 2 months).

Attempts to recover the deposit aimacably failed, so we were forced to sue him and be awarded the judgement for the deposit monies, legal fees and loss of business and now have to place liens on his assets and take other measures to recover damages. It is a shame that the Cannabis business is frought with such frauds and stalkers that take away from those that are truly trying to advance the industry for the greater good and make a buck only after value is created.   

Shame on you SWPI and John Ross.   Truly a ripoff !
