T-mobile, Wireless Cell Phone fraudulent charge, rate hike Albuquerque New Mexico
*UPDATE Employee: This is why.
-our phone numbers are supposed to be private, secure and unlisted ?
-right after service subcription tons of messages pour in, every day!
*** strangers/unknown callers text us messages (incoming text). so we have to pay for this incoming service too, although we did not know them, we did not give out our number ?!
*so this is fraudulent charge, thus ripp off scheme !?

Unless the area you live in has recently acquired a brand new area code then your number is a number someone has had before. This is true for just about everyone. If you call customer service and explain what's going on we can do several things. We need to change your number because we can't stop people from calling. It's harrassment and there is no charge for this. (within a reasonable amount of changes) Explain what has been happening with the text and if you don't use it anyway, (assuming you don't have a package etc) then ask to have a text block. I can't promise that your texts are going to be credited but it doesn't hurt to ask after explaining what has happened.
Your phone number though is private, unlisted, and secure. T-Mobile does not sell your number to other companies but there are only so many numbers available unfortunantly.
