I sold a $100 gift card to an eBay user named takeitnow on 9/7/08. I shipped it out on 9/8/08. Takeitnow deleted their eBay account and did not leave feedback. On 10/18/08 Jenny Lee filed a dispute against me on PayPal saying I never sent the item. I am currently in the process of resolving the issue by proving to PayPal there is already a thing out there saying this user is a scammer. If you are having the same problem, please register and submit a report. It will help all of us. Thank you.

UPDATE: PAYPAL SUPPORTS FRAUD

AUTHOR: Ajuran727 - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 23, 2008

*******UPDATE*******

PayPal has decided to award the scammer the winner in my case.
I HIGHLY URGE PEOPLE TO TAKE PAYPAL TO COURT. You can file a smalls claims court in your area and PayPal will have to deal with it. You can not only file for the amount taken from your account but also for other damages in upwards of $25,000. Paypal under law is liable to treat all those in business with it fairly. PayPal's failure to conduct a valid investigation and reversing the funds back to the fraudster aided the fraud against myself. Liability against Paypal is found in their failure to conduct a valid investigation.

15 U.S.C. 45 makes it illegal for unfair and deceptive trade practices as the one exhibited by Paypal against myself and others in failing to conduct a valid investigation.
California Civil Code Sec. 17200 also says unfair competition shall mean and
include any unlawful, unfair or fraudulent business act or practice
and unfair, deceptive, untrue or misleading advertising.
If you lost your product(s) and money I also suggest suing for Tortuous Interference of Business Relationship for interfering with a business transaction that caused you to lose your product and money.
If you have had emotional distress from this entire ordeal you can also sue for Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress.
