WARNING!   Unless actors contact the Production Company and request an earnings report, they will have no idea if Vince Paul is pocketing their money.   His strategy for my daughter was to throw her a bone and keep the rest for himself.  Without our having contacted the production company, we would never have discovered that she had actually earned well in excess of what he paid her. Talent Link did an excellent job booking my daughter a well-paying job with residuals.  However, getting her portion of the money she earned is near impossible.  To get the monies due requires contacting the production company, getting information of what checks were cut and when they were sent, and then using this information to badger Talent Link for her cut. Talent Link is in breach of contract, and my daughter is still owed money.

I fear that because of the lack of checks and balances, Talent Link may be scamming others as well.   Because checks are made out to the actor, but sent to Talent Link for deposit to Talent Link’s bank account as per the contractual agreement, there is no way for an actor to know that they earned money. Even the W2s for the actor get sent to Talent Link, which means that actors may owe taxes on money they have never received and don’t even know about.  If I had not suspected something, I would have never contacted the production company and learned that Talent Link was receiving checks, and not paying my daughter her portion of the earnings.
