I filled out an application with Sierra Lending and was approved for 700.00.  I know if they would have said my pay back was over 3,000.00 I would not have taken out the loan. Sierra Lending works with Tall Grass Finance some way. I called Tall Grass Finance and asked them for a copy of my original documents so I could see the payments and they sent me  a typed email with my payments. I need to see how I can get out of paying this much money back to them i get there should be some interest but not over 3,000.00. I need some help with this.

Question

AUTHOR: Robert - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 03, 2018

When you got the loan did you actually ASK what the interest rate was and confirm that was what you were signing. Or was it more of a case of you were so happy that someone would give you a loan you figured that you would take any interest rate as it couldn't be that bad, only to find out you were wrong.  I would put my money on the later.

As for help. Most likely the $3000 you think you will be paying back is if you pay back only their minimum, if you want the balance to go down faster you will have to pay more than the minimum.  Probably to make any sort of dent it would have to be a significant amount over their minimum.

This Is What YOU Agreed To

Get out of this? Sure. You pay it off! YOU agreed to receive the loan and pay it back as per the terms. Reading the terms before agreeing to them is a matter of common sense!
