I bought a Tank Sports 250cc Touring Scooter (an identical replica of the Suzuki Bergman) online from a Tank dealer in California. The product arrived in the original manufacturing crate, with some assembly required. After 3 weeks, the bike showed loss of power when accelerating, headlights were dim, speedometer would "stick" and engine would stall mid ride (around 20/30mph) and gain power again. Battery charged faster than usual, but would drain within riding 20mins. Left me stranded a couple of times.

I took the bike to an experienced motorcycle mechanic for a check up after 1month, and he explained he will do his best, but he has a junkyard full of these scooters. Alarmed now, I researched to find the company has turned up bankrupt. I'm now stuck with a scooter that does not promise to be fixed, or ordering parts to be found.

After finding this website (having the most recent activity in reporting this manufacturer), I think something can most definately be done to bring some justice to Tank Sports. Knowingly this company sold unreliable and poorly assembled motorvehicles. Remind you that this vehicle is permitted on the Highway!
