He dosn't own a house, dosn't own a car, hasn't filed a tax return in 8 or 9 years and lives off of hard working peoples franchise fees and territory fees they have paid him.The whole Clubstore Outlet Corporate is nothing but a ponzi scheme, no infrastructure or support what so ever for the franchisees. Tapp palmer is a theif. Before I decide to buy the franchise, I went to TN and Kentucky to vist a new store and Tapp's warehouse. everything was in order and very convencing.
I paid him $55,000 as a down payment towards the franchise fees of $70,000. Signed a 10 year lease to get the store and paid a down payment of $11,000 towards the rent. couple of weeks later, stores of clubstores were clsing their doors. Mr. crock changed his supply chains. there was no warehouse. that was his other partner scam. the place belonged to someone else.
franchisees were getting garbish for products. Used clothing, used air conditing.....
I asked him to refund me the money . He said sure. He paid me $2,500.00 and called it a day. i cant find him, but i know he has a lawyer and i will find a way to reach tapp and get my money from him.
He is telling me that the franchise agreement staes no refund. I agree, but not in a fraud situation and he violated the agreement as well by not coming to my store then to provide me with his business opinion as per the signed contract.
Stay away from that place.
