The basis of complaints against Jason Taylor (Taylor Reno's, Taylormade Plumbing, and his latest company name; Top-Notch Plumbing) all assume that because he claims to be a Plumber, Jason Taylor is a Licesenced, Ontario/Canadian, Certified Plumber. He has not taken a single course under the Ontario College of Trades in Ontario and is not Licesenced to practice in this field. He is currently being tried for this and other offences by the Ontario College of Trades, in Kitchener, Ontario. I would like to start off with that I am an employee with Taylor Made Plumbing and have been for some time now. I work directly with the owner Jason Taylor as the companies Sales Manager and driver as needed.

We partially run our business off Kijiji and from there word of mouth, we always do our best to put the needs of our clients first as customer satisfaction is our #1 priority and has been for over 15 years now.

We came across this client Sal Rahmaty, who contacted us about some rough-in work he needed done in his basement as he is turning it into apartments. He tells us he is a respected man and owns 5 other properties in the community. So Jason goes over the job with him, and a price. He agrees to this and pays the deposit upfront as we do charge this to all our clients, as it is used as a fee for the materials needed on the clients job.

Jason began working after receiving the deposit as he said he would. After which the client would ask for smaller things to be done here and there, that were not originally mentioned and he did not want to pay for them, some of which would require city permits which he was refusing to get also, We learned soon after that he had also not paid the other contractors that were doing work for him at the same residence. After confronting him about these issue we found out that he had too borrow money for the original deposit and it would be scene that he would not be able to pay us when the job was fully completed. This is when suspicions rows and we tried to work out a compromise with the client, we asked that he show us a certified cheque with the amount owing on it to us and that we would continue working afterwards. We did not ask for the cheque, only strictly from him to show us that the money would be available upon completion. He was unable to do so therefor we had to do what was right for everyone and step back. Until he could show he would be able to keep up his end of the agreement.


Thiswhole situation is being taken care of by our lawyers, as it has now turned into a case of a client being upset because he did not get his way and feels that it is OK to slander the name of a good company on the internet.

I would also like to follow up on a few other things this client has written.

1. Our equipment is not rented, it is ours. It is a simple fact that afteruse, you clean your tools and equipment and they will last a longtime and save you money down the road. Our equipment may look like new but that's strictly because we take care of it, as any self respecting contractor does.

2. The pictures taken of the work are for the rough-in where the piping would be layed. It is not just a hole in the cement, it was measured out and cut accordingly to the layout out the pipes.

3. I take offense to the (Kid in the driver seat ) statement. As I am that person he is talking about. I am not a child, I am 22 years old with a good head on my shoulders. When our van is in the shop or on another job, I will bring the office with me, and load up my car with all the necessary equipment for that job and make sure Jason is there on time with everything he needs, Ive never once sat in my car for 5 hours, on occasion I will wait for Jason for 30min and do any paperwork needed or phone calls from the vehicle, but I have it also set up so I can do so if needed.

4. Our company is not being audited for tax fraud nor has it ever been in 15 years of business. We run a legitment business and always will.
