Beware of outrageous fees and ultra low rates on IRA accounts!

I just moved my IRA from Ameritrade to Pentagon Federal Credit Union because Ameritrade was paying me pennies a month in interest. PenFed offered me a much better rate with their 5 yr. CD option.

When I got my last Amertrade statement I saw a $75 fee for them to type a few keystrokes and transfer the money. When I called a respectfully asked for an explanation and then a refund, a supervisor said "I can't refund the fee for you" That was a LIE! What she meant was that she WON"T give me a refund.

Avoid TDAmeritrade at all cost, they ripped me off!
