Ted Fang DDS Doctor Ted Fang ruined my teeth and caused me pain and financial hardship Palmdale California

I moved to Antelope Valley in the beginning of this year and after a few months I started to look for a new dentist. I found doctor Ted Fang through his internet ad and I made an appointment with him. I told them that I had a check up , cleaning and X-rays and exam about six months ago. Doctor Fang insisted on new X-rays and I agreed. Doctor Ted Fang then told me that 2 of my crowns and several of my fillings were old and poorly done. He said I should have them all replaced with new crowns and porcelain fillings.

I trusted him and even though I had no problems or pain with my teeth I let him do what he recommended. He was so convincing that I paid him over 2800 dollars in addition to what they charged my insurance.Most of my work was done in a few appointments and I put up with all the painful shots and poking and drilling. Doctor Ted Fang said that I still had 2 more teeth to fix but I could not go on any more because 3 of my teeth became sensitive and painful from the drilling and when I went back to him 2 times to see what the problem was he said it would go away shortly.

The pain and sensitivity only got worse and I contacted my old dentist and asked for his opinion. He told me that last time he saw me there was nothing wrong with my teeth and he could not believe some one actually tore up all the good dental work that he had done prior to moving to Lancaster. He told me to get a second opinion. By this time I could not chew on either side of my mouth. This time I went to a dentist highly recommended by my neighbor. She took new X-rays and told me that all 3 teeth needed root canals because Doctor Fang had drilled too deep into the nerves of my teeth.

She also said that rest of my teeth were fine and she could not find the broken and bad fillings that Doctor Ted Fang was talking about. She also pointed out that doctor fang's work was not correctly done and promised to replace the for me in the correct way. She sent me to a root canal specialist who also confirmed the need for root canals. I had no choice but to pay a lot more money for the root canals and new crowns. I was totally ripped off by doctor Ted Fang. I suffered financially and physically.I want nothing to do with him ever again ,and I think others should be careful and get a second opinion before they let him do anything to their teeth.
