I was ripped off by this man and his business.. Please read for the full story to see how I was ripped off by Terry Campbell!

Around a month ago I hired Terry Campbell of "Terry Campbell & Associates Tax Professionals", otherwise known as "Terry Campbell & Associates" of Phoenix, Arizona to file my tax return as well as submit the neccesary forms needed to dissolve my LLC.

He told me that he filed my tax return and submitted the neccesay form to dissolve my LLC, and billed me for his all-inclusive service in full.

Around a month later I get a letter from the Secretary of State regarding my LLC saying that they were unable to complete the request to dissolve my LLC because the incorrect form was submitted/paid for(their was a $100.00 processing fee that paid for the incorrect form that was non-refundable), and I was advised in the letter that I needed to now submit the correct form to dissolve the LLC and will need to submit another $100.00 processing fee for the correct form.

After carefully considering the situation I determined 3 things:
1. The job that I paid for was not completed due to Terry Campbell's error. This is the equililent of buying a product and taking it home only to find out that it's missing parts.

2. I am now being asked to pay an additional $100.00 and submit the form myself, and this wouldn't be neccesary if Terry Campbell had submitted/paid for the correct form on my behalf.

3. That Terry had 2 options at this point: He could complete the job himself and pay for the additional $100.00 processing fee required due to his own error to rectify the issue. Or, he could give me a refund on account of incomplete services that I paid him to complete.

After determining these things, I emailed Terry persoanlly and let him know what happened and asked that he would take care of it in light of the situation. He replied refusing to complete the job and told me that I would need to submit the correct forms myself (you know, do the job I paid him to do) now and that I would also need to pay the additional $100.00 processing fee(keep in mind: this was all supposed to be completed by him because that's what I literrally paid him to do for me).

I emailed him back a few times and reexplained the logic behind my request because he was either not understanding the situation or was blatantly ripping me off knowing in full that he had made a mistake.

After a few email exchanges and the situation being described to him in detail he refused to acknowledge his mistake, nor would he complete the job, and refused to refund me anything at all.

I will never in my life do business with Terry Campbell ever again as I have no trust for him or his business. I paid for a service that he failed to complete, and I sadly ended up having to do this job that I paid him for myself and had to pay an additional $100.00 for the form to be processed.

Around a month ago I hired Terry Campbell of "Terry Campbell & Associates Tax Professionals", otherwise known as "Terry Campbell & Associates" of Phoenix, Arizona to file my tax return as well as submit the neccesary forms needed to dissolve my LLC.

He told me that he filed my tax return and submitted the neccesay form to dissolve my LLC, and billed me in full for his services. The tax return he filed went perfectly. The issue is with the way he handled attempting to dissolve my LLC.

Around a month after he submitted the forms to dissove my LLC I get a letter from the Secretary of State regarding my LLC saying that they were unable to complete the request to dissolve it because the incorrect form was submitted. I should mention that their was a $100.00 processing fee that was required to be paid for the incorrect form that he submitted on my behalf, and that was non-refundable. I was advised in the letter that I needed to now submit the correct form to dissolve the LLC and will need to submit a $100.00 processing fee for the correct form.

After carefully considering the situation I determined 3 things:
1. The job that I paid for was not completed due to the companies error. This is the equililent of buying a product and taking it home only to find out that it's missing parts.

2. I am now being asked to pay an additional $100.00 and submit the form myself by the Secretary of State, and this wouldn't be neccesary if the company had submitted/paid for the correct form on my behalf.

3. There were 2 options at this point: The company I paid to complete this job could complete the job themself and pay for the additional $100.00 processing fee required due to their own error to rectify the issue. Or, they could give me a refund on account of incomplete services that I paid them to complete.

After determining these things, I emailed Terry personally since I had been working with him, and I let him know what happened and asked that his company would take care the issue it in light of the situation. He replied refusing to complete the job and told me that I would need to submit the correct forms myself (you know, that I needed to do the job I paid him to do myself) now and that I would also need to pay the additional $100.00 processing fee(keep in mind: this was all supposed to be completed by his company because that's what I literrally paid them to complete).

After a few email exchanges between us and the situation being described to him in detail he refused to acknowledge his companies mistake, nor would he complete the job, and the company refused to refund me anything at all.

I will never in my life do business with Terry Campbell & Associates Tax Professionals ever again as I have no trust for the business based on my personal expereince. I paid for a service that they failed to complete, and I sadly ended up having to do part of job that I paid them to do, and had to pay an additional $100.00 for the form to be processed.
