Terry Green and I had a relationship back in 1998. I was pregnant when I started discovering his lies were not adding up. He was cheating on his girlfriend with me, but I didn't know until after he disappeared during my 7th month of pregnancy. Totally DISAPPEARED! I had to patiently wait until months later to be able to afford "US Search" to find him. All I wanted was for him to pay for the child he had abandoned. He was served and never showed up for court until he was arrested about 7 months later. By then I spoke to his girlfriend and I agreed to send her pictures of his son. (Yes she was extremely nice and decent about the whole situation) I agreed that we would get together (all three of us) so they could see the baby which was almost 2 by then. I agreed to very liberal visitation, but never agreed for him to pay me, but rather pay through paycheck deductions because I couldn't trust him to pay. Boy was I right, every time he leaves a job, I then have to track him down to enforce the child support. But the reason he's a DEADBEAT besides the payment issue..is that he broke up with his girlfriend and then he called me to tell me he couldn't see his son (left message)because he needed to get his "act together", by this time my son has had a relationship with him for 2 years. He is now 7 yrs old and hasn't seen or heard from him in 3 years. He of course quit his job again and hasn't paid anything for months. But the worst is that my son kept asking me where is Daddy? I would tell him he was busy with work and he finally asked how can he be so busy all the time? Recently I caught my son telling a classmate that his daddy was in heaven..I couldn't believe it. He is still in touch with his father's ex-girlfriend whom he adores. I don't think many men understand how this can affect some children for the rest of their lives. This guy was given every opportunity, much more than he deserves and this is what he choses to do to his own son.
