My wife and I recently purchased a 2016Ford F 350 from Texas Direct Auto. While test driving and inspecting the truck, we noticed there was damage to the spray in bed liner and the rear passenger fender. We brought this up before we went into financing and were told they could send it to their shop and get both things repaired, but it would take 5 hours or so. We told them that we really didn't want to wait 5 hours seeing how we had an 18 hour drive home. At this point they stated that they could fix the spray in bed liner while we were in financing and get estimates for the fender once we got home. We agreed to that. After financing, we had to wait for about 45 minutes before they brought the truck back. We looked at the spray in bed liner, it had been repaired, however it didn't look all that great.

We left Texas Direct Auto around 2:00pm and headed home. Around 2 hours after leaving the dealership, we ran into rain. It rained on and off for the next 4 hours before we decided to stop for the night. In the morning, I took a look at the bed liner. They repair that Texas Direct did, washed away. We called Texas Direct Auto and talked with Christina. She said she would open a ticket on this issue and send us an email. We never received an email. We did get a call from our salesman Delroy. I explained to Delroy what had happen. He said not to worry, they would make it right.

After we got home, I went to an auto body shops to get an estimate. When I saw how much it would cost, $810.00, I called Delroy. He stated that it seems like they want to reprint the whole fender. Not knowing that much about the Tri coat paint on the truck I went to another auto body shop. After they looked at the truck, they stated that there is no way to touch up this kind of paint properly. He stated that they would have to reprint the entire fender and it would cost $676.00. At this point, I was directed to another Texas Direct/Vroom employee named Ralph. He told me he would have to talk to his manager the next day because he wasn't there that day. A day or two later, I received an email from Ralph stating they they will only pay the $250 that someone at Texas Direct felt it should cost. Then I called my salesman Delroy and explained to him what was going on, he told me he would talk to his manager. The next day Ralph called me and said that they would pay $400.00 for the repairs. I told them that that was unacceptable seeing how it was going to cost $40 to repair the bed liner and at least $676.00 to repair the fender. At this point Ralph said I would have to talk to the manager. That was the last I heard from them. Ally I want it for Texas Direct to pay what it costs to fix what they said they would while I was at their facility in Stafford Texas.
