I called the company to ask about my mother's policy and they said she never had a policy with them. I know my mother had a policy with them she had been paying on it for a long time and yet they said they never heard of her. I know they are lieing.

All you have to do is find the paper copy of the Insurance policy or get copies of the cancelled checks that were used to make payments. Contact the agent that you've had review her financial situation every couple of years to ensure she has enough coverage? Something with the policy number on it. Has your mother passed away? Depending on the type of policy it is, sometimes older types of policies "mature" and are paid off, perhaps this happened and she deposited the money elsewhere. If you produce a hard copy policy or checks, they should be able to trace it with no problem.
