Texas Power 50% hike in electricity prices in a month!that too without notice Dallas Arlington Texas

520 $ electricty bill,increase of $ 400 in electrcity bill,staying in the same house,with same appliances,same number of people.They increased the electricty charges in a month by 50%,When I asked them about the logic,they told me the cost of buying electricty increased.

I asked the rep the logic,he could not point out,Just kept on saying that prices have gone up.

ARE THEY NOT SUPPOSED TO INFORM IF THE PRICES GO UP SO MUCH like 50%.

I have already switched to Green mountain,for all I know next month they could surprise me by doubling the rates again.
