Chris has made direct and damaging statements about The Glass Guru.  Each is false. 

Our business model is build around the long-term success of our Franchisees.  In addition to weekly and monthly calls with franchisees, our entire staff focuses on on-going and continual franchisee support, which is evidenced by our franchisee's continuing success.

As for Technical expertise, initial and ongoing training is provide through our staff that (collectively) has decades of industry experience.  In addition to training, and the support listed above, each franchisee has full access to the numerous technical and other manuals available through our software system.   

Chris is correct in stating we are not proven in most of the U.S.  But, one must balance that position with the fact that we are not present in most of the U.S. at this time.  Yet, our services are proven successful in each area within the U.S. that we operate: from FL to NY; through LA, TX, CO and CA to list a few specific locations with varying climate conditions.

In closing, The Glass Guru is unclear as to who "Chris" is given that "Chris" is not a franchise owner.

My name is Dan Frey and I am the Founder and President of The Glass Guru.  I am not sure who filed this report but it appears to be fraudulent as we have never had a franchisee named Chris and in 4 years of franchising and over 50 openings across North America, we have had only a few closures off which I am intimately aware of the circumstances of each.  I do not believe that any of these few would have made the statement on the report.  

We make our FDD available to all serious franchise candidates and it includes the contact information for all of our current and past owners.  We also make it very easy for those doing their research to reach and communicate with our current franchisees to speak with them about the type of support we provide.  We just came off a record year of growth at the both the organization and local store level and we are very proud of our track record.

Along with numerous accolades from publications within the glass industry, we were recently ranked #400 by Entrepreneur Magazine on their annual list of the nations top 500 franchises.  They also ranked us #90 of the top 100 low-cost franchises and #34 of the top 50 new franchises in the US.  I have never heard of the Chris ? who filed this report but I do not believe that it is a legitimate complaint.
