The Granite Place Scam. Will Play Retail & Wholesale. Change Names of colors to fool You! They Claim to sell wholesale to contractors only , but offered same pricing to me as a retail customer! sarasota Florida

 The Granite Place is a wholesale distributor of granite that sells directly to stone fabricators who send their customers to our warehouse to select their granite slabs. Although, contractors and designers often visit our warehouse to browse and pick slabs for their customers, the sale is made to the fabricator who will measure, template, cut and install the stone. We do not sell to designers or contractors nor do we quote prices to them. We do not quote prices to walk-in customers.

 We think this consumer is confused about the role of the wholesaler. The customers select their slab but the fabricator quotes prices and pays for the slab directly to us. We are puzzeled as to why the complaintant felt he had to misrepresent him/herself  as evidenced by his/her statement that  "he returned and posed as a walk-in customer". What did he "pose" as the first time? Did a fabricator send you to us? Did you not understand that we are wholesalers, not retailers?
